Chicken Inn, a famous brand by Simbisa Brands is a quick service restaurant, an Innscor subsidiary that officially opened its first Chicken Inn outlet in 1987 in Harare, Zimbabwe. Innscor was listed on ZSE in 1998 to boost its presence around Africa. Simbisa Brands was fully incorporated as a subsidiary on 5th August 2015. This then gave room for expansion and reaching to more African countries, including Ghana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Malawi, Swaziland, Mauritius, DRC, Malawi, and Kenya. 

Of other SImbisa brands that include Pizza Inn and Creamy Inn, the most recognizable brand is Chicken Inn which offers a range of meal options including fried chicken, burgers, fresh rotisserie chicken, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, and chips.

  1. Zinona (Zed) Koudounaris (Non-Executive Director)

As was already mentioned, Simbisa Brands is an Innscor subsidiary that was established in 1987. The company was started by Zinona Koudounaris, a Rhodes University alumna who made significant contributions to the creation of the first fast food restaurants as well as to the strategy and effective administration of the business. As of right now, Zed serves as a non-executive director.
